Marguerite (Margy) was brought up in the Merrymount section of Quincy where she currently lives. She is a graduate of Regis College and Boston University.

After residing in Boston for many years, Marguerite returned to Quincy and went to work in the family real estate business, Flavin and Flavin Real Estate. She has been a full-time real estate broker for 23 years.
